This policy explains what information MatchPass Live ("MatchPass", "we", "us") collects when you use our mobile app or website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to anyone who watches, browses, or pays for content through MatchPass.

Information we collect

• Account information. Your phone number, used to sign you in and verify your identity by one-time code (OTP). You can also browse as a guest without an account.
• Payment information. When you buy a pass, your payment is processed through M-Pesa and our payment partner. MatchPass does not store your M-Pesa PIN or full payment credentials — we receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, the amount, and a transaction reference.
• Viewing activity. Which content you watch, when, and for how long, so we can grant access to content you've paid for, keep your place in a video, and understand what's popular.
• Device and technical information. Basic technical data such as app version, device type, and network errors, used to keep playback reliable and diagnose crashes.

How we use this information

• To create and secure your account, and let you back into it.
• To process payments and grant access to the content you've bought.
• To deliver video to your device and keep streams stable.
• To understand which content is working, so we can license and curate more of it.
• To meet legal, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your viewing activity to build advertising profiles.

Who we share it with

We share information only where needed to run the service: our payment partner (to process M-Pesa payments), our video and cloud storage providers (to host and deliver stream and video files), and law enforcement or regulators where we're legally required to.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data, subject to what we're legally required to retain (for example, payment records). Contact us using the details below to make a request.

Children

MatchPass is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
